A June Sunday always ushers in the @PrepHoopsTN Combine. Ordinarily the final Sunday suffices, but this year we tipped June 16th with an insanely talented coaching staff. The gym hosted high energy. Read about several of the campers with their evaluations from the day. All measurements/times are listed in the linked article.

Pure jumper. He is probably more shooter than slasher at this point. And yet Isaiah did get to the rim in transition in the 5v5 portion. His agility at 6-foot-3 is very encouraging. Williams projects as an NAIA combo guard with a D2- / D3 ceiling. Rangy off-guard. Nice height. No glaring weakness. Wonderful temperament. At least outwardly he plays with a cheerful, determined spirit. Unflappable. In the Old West they called it a steady hand.

How did he measure against the competition?

- Class of 2028
- 6'1" SF
- 3/4 court sprint -- 3.50, 3.39
- Wingspan -- 6'3.25"
- Camp Ranking -- #36
Big, naturally strong young man. Daxton's wingspan is impressive at nearly 6'4" before high school. Entering high school at Cleveland High in the fall. Tough kid. He was eager to mix it up and get into dribblers. Hands are good on defense. His balance is fine, but I worry about him maintaining lateral mobility as he gets bigger and stronger. Focusing on agility will always be extremely important for him. Straightline speed (3.50, 3.39) was better relative to the other campers than his lane agility, which implies he is faster than he is quick at this stage.
Check his times in the sprint and agility drills.

Lucas is a skilled player. I would like to see him get more grit, more fight in the tight places. He looks like he will be average to above average as a shooter. In order to be relevant as a college recruit he will need to give something more though. Maybe improve as a rebounder? Maybe develop an elite handle. Alford is a worker. He is extremely coachable. He cares about the game. Playing with or against some extremely physical, bruisers will help him acclimate to what basketball is like beyond high school. Speed must improve, especially change of direction. Plyometrics are great for developing with that aspect.

- 3/4-Court Sprint -- 3.37 seconds, 3.38
- Camp Ranking -- #32
- State Ranking -- Top 140
Incredibly bouncy. Very, very fast. Point guard? Nice times in the sprint (3.37, 3.38). He recorded the sixth fastest time of all 50+ campers. The Lane Agility was just ok, considering how fast he proved to be. A bruiser of a player around the rim. He not only embraced contact, Andrew often initiated it when driving. His creativity with the dribble can improve. For a guy so fast, it would be nice if he incorporated clever, slick moves. It would make him so much more dangerous.

How did he measure against the competition?
- Class of 2027
- 5'10" PG
- Hand span -- 8'0"
- Hand height -- 8.0"
- Wingspan -- 5'11"
- Lane Agility -- 13.39, 13.10 sec
- Camp Ranking -- #44
Stunned his defender in 1v1 with a fluid drop step. Despite playing guard his comfort with his back to basket impressed. Toliver's weakness athletically is Lane Agility (13.39, 13.10), which reveals a player's change of direction. Plyometrics and a few track workouts will help this. A poised player. He showed an ability to play effectively at a variety of paces, which is a nice attribute for a guard.

Gave multiple efforts on defense. Good energy. Deadly slasher. Plays all of 6-foot-3 with good confidence in traffic. Huber is quick in tight spaces with and without the basketball. Did not really take or make three-pointers. Won a lot of games during the 5v5 portion.
