Santos was lightning in a bottle for PTT and completely dominated a Saturday morning game with his ability to get to the rim and finish. The 6-foot-4 guard used his strength and athleticism to glide past his initial defender with ease and then was able to elevate at the hoop and take contact consistently. He also has a nice mid range jumper, where he showcases great balance and pop. He also plays hard defensively and can guard multiple positions as a result of his combination of size and strength. I’ll be very curious what his role looks like at the Kent School this season — I would imagine he gets lots of minutes and is one of their better scorers.

just knows how to put the ball in the basket. He was a bulldozer driving inside, finishing nicely off the backboard through heavy contact. Additionally, he hit some three pointers from the outside and communicated well on defense.

stood out with his exceptional defense and timely scoring. His hustle and energy were infectious as he made a huge block on a player who was clearly bigger than him and also continued to use his athleticism by making steals in the air. It helped keep Kent in the game till the very end. Offensively, he was able to get to the cup going coast to coast, cutting off the ball on a backdoor, and even hitting an open corner three with good touch. Filling in when you are needed is very crucial to playing positive basketball and he proved that in his appearances on the floor.
