Cooper stands out as one of the well-known shooters in the 2028 class. His mechanics are repeatable with a range that already extends beyond the high school line. He thrives as a catch-and-shoot option but shows the ball-handling ability to add side-step and pull-up variety, which will make him even harder to defend. With continued growth in shot creation and off-ball movement, he has the upside to emerge as a premier perimeter scorer.
Cooper is a sharpshooter who can get his own shot off the dribble but is super accurate when getting open catch-and-shoot looks from beyond the arc. He can put the ball on the floor and get to his spots inside or find a solid pass to make under pressure. He is a decent rebounding guard who will get inside with the bigs to look for boards.
