A new name for me, King comes over from Firestone to add to Buchtel’s young core that’s filled with 2027 and 2028 prospects. This 2026 wing has a good build and was impactful on both ends of the court. The first play he made was blocking a shot and taking it coast to coast with a euro-step finish at the other end. Scoring at will in the paint, when King was able to set himself square to the rim on drives he was tough to stop. Also flashing a little perimeter shooting ability, King looks like a name to know around the Akron area heading into the winter where Buchtel will look to establish themselves as a force after winning the 2023 state title.
