Muskegon Heat 2028 (68)
Demetrio Dockery 5’11 Guard
Dockery controlled the pace of the game for the Heat. He was instrumental in splitting defenders and scoring layups when he hit the paint. Demetrio became a focal point for BNB as they doubled him to get the ball out of his hands. He was assertive and made the right pass to his teammates. Dockery’s change of pace kept guys off balance which led him to him having a breakout game.
Artis Williams 5’10 guard 2028
Slick scoring guard who came off the bench and scored some key buckets for Muskegon. Artis made two of the biggest plays of the day. One was a drive where he used a spin move in the lane then scored while being fouled in the process. The second big play was a huge three to open up the lead for the Heat after only being up 2 points, in which they never looked back after that. Williams is a three level scorer who gave the spark needed to win.
J.J Stokes 6’2 wing 2028
Stokes is lefty athletic wing player who played with a continuous motor throughout the game. He ran the floor well catching passes on the go and driving them to the rim for layups. JJ is a high energy guy that contributed on defense too. Using length and speed to get a pair of steals that he passed to teammates to help seal the win for the Heat.
BNB 2028 (57)
Tyrell Taylor Tyrell Taylor MI 6’4 Forward 2028
Taylor was again a force in the paint. He was strong on the boards and cleaned up most of the missed shots. Tyrell is an uber athletic forward who tried to drive down the middle of the lane and dunk the ball to change the momentum of the game, but he hit the back of the rim. Taylor finished with a double double with points and rebounds.
Ja’Kari Lovelady Ja’Kari Lovelady 5'7" Crestwood | 2028 MI 5’11 Guard 2028
Lovelady started the game strong with drives to the cup and getting fouled a few times. He’s a quick guard who can score at will but also is a sound passer when on the move. Lovelady did his best to keep his team close but the heat kept throwing guards at him and that tired him out. Still a great showing for the guard the whole weekend.
