Got out in transition and ran the floor hard to make easy finishes at the rim. He was feasting on his opponents. He'd board-and-go and quickly pass the ball up-court or take it straight down the middle of the court with the ball to finish on his own. Although a great athlete, he still controlled the paint area by being a high-level rebounder with a combination of long arms, vertical ability, and his hand quickness and ability to anticipate where the ball will be.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":2441890,"_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"Markese Pope","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2028","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"null","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"77248","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"[program_tooltip program_id='2075908' first='Team' last='Nebraska Express']","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Pope's athleticism and fluidity on the court really shows. I thought he was one of those players that affects the game greatly even though it doesn't show up on the box score. He can still get to the hoop off the drive with a super quick first step and finish, but his defensive movement and ability to defend the full length of the court was evident. One of my favorite under the radar prospects on a team full of talent.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":2,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6645de2f69600"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":2441891,"_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Yasir Grixby","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2028","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"null","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"77246","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"[program_tooltip program_id='2075908' first='Team' last='Nebraska Express'] ","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Grixby was [program_tooltip program_id='2075908' first='Team' last='Nebraska Express']' second leading scorer at 14.3 ppg. An advanced skill set for his age with his ball-handling and limitless range from three. I'm still in the process of going through film from all age groups, but Carroll had to have one of the best three-point shots from the younger prospects. He didn't have to change his shot when releasing from deep, like some of the younger kids have to do to get the ball to the hoop. Can create his own jumper off the dribble. His ability to handle ball pressure and create himself some space with his handle stood out as well.
