Wheatley plays hard on both ends of the court. He can stay with fast handlers. He’s a quality ball handler with vision, and passing to find open players in half court using good moves with hard dribble drives, and kicks outs to find open shooters, or pushing fast, and passing up in transition. He gets into the paint for jumpers, high off the glass either hand finishes. He has a nice mid-range jumper.
