About Ian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Pure shooter with the ability to score from three levels. Can create shots for myself and I am crafty getting to the rim. I am also a good passer and see the floor well. I am an unselfish player and look to get my teammates involved.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Multisport athlete with a love for the game of basketball. Playing multiple sports has developed my ability to achieve with multiple teams in a variety of challenges. I like to compete where I can showcase my abilities

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

LEO Club (Lions Club International)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been selected to attend multiple leadership seminars by coaches and teachers. I have also volunteered with the LEO Club at my school to help my community.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to be able to compete and make a difference for a team. I think my best fit would be at a small or medium sized university that is supportive of athletics that offers an education that will allow me to be competitive in the job market after graduation.

Roberts has gotten some press, but young men in northern Michigan almost always deserve more. Roberts can flat out fill it up from beyond the arc. He averaged over 23 points per game this high school season and, like last summer, will draw eyes to his game this grassroots season.

We’ll stick to the theme of scary good shooters with Ian Roberts Ian Roberts Ian Roberts 6'4" | 190 lbs | SG Beaverton | 2027 State MI . Roberts had a breakout spring and summer and established himself as a top notch perimeter scorer. I’m sure that he will strike fear in some of the opposition when they see him with a look at the rim from beyond the arc.

Roberts has had an impressive grassroots season and will look to continue that trend this weekend. He’s been lights out as a shooter and scorer. Roberts has consistently made teams play the price for giving him space when beyond the arc. He’s not just a gunner from downtown though, as he can also find looks and deliver from mid range.
