Another heartbreaking playoff loss for the Bearcats but Orr left it all on the court for his final high school game as he did an excellent job crashing the offensive glass and getting easy putback layups. Also blocking a couple shots throughout the game, Orr’s physicality was a strength against a Coldwater group that has a bunch of multi-sport athletes. While the Sensabaugh brothers return next season, with Orr and a couple other seniors leaving the Spencerville team will look different in 2025-26.

Orr was phenomenal on Friday night for Spencerville. The Bearcats played through him in the post all night and it resulted in a big-time road win. He did it all for them. When they gave him the ball in the post, he saw the entire floor read the court well and knew when to kick it out to shooters or take advantage of the 1v1. A big reason he could score easily if the defense didn’t send two is his size and strength. He then was a great rim protector on the other end. He had multiple blocks and was always in the right spot on the help side. He was dominant all game and showed great toughness.

Orr has the size and maturity of a next-level player. He is a 6’4 wing who can put a guard in multiple positions. He has a good maturity in his game. He never forces anything that is not there. He knows how to pick his spot on the floor and score from it. He does not make mistakes. He seems like a natural leader for his team because of his play and talk on the court. He can score a little bit from all over the floor but he also just does not make mistakes. 

Making it to the final four, NW Ohio used a scoring by committee approach today that worked wonders for their group. Filled with unselfish players who aren’t worried about who picks up the stats in any individual game, NW Ohio is showing how playing the game the right way has benefits for everybody. I was impressed by how hard Orr played this afternoon. Using his physicality and motor to chase after rebounds, loose balls and create extra possessions for his team. Not to mention his ability to stretch the floor from the wing position off the catch. Orr had college coaches in the gym taking notes of his effort levels and how he contributes to winning.
