The Prep Hoops Bash In the Desert continued on Saturday with the 15u division action at Valley Vista High School in Surprise.

Here are some of the standouts that I personally saw:

[player_tooltip player_id='2422763' first='Camren' last='Hicks'] Canyon Del Oro (Valley Elite 15U)

Hicks is a young prospect with good instincts and good ball-handling ability. He got into the lane consistently to set up his teammates. He showed a nice pull-up mid-range shot.

Weston Chavez CG 5'9" 2028 Undecided (AZ Select James 15U)

Chavez is an 8th grader playing up and didn't miss a beat. He likes going downhill to create for his teammates or finish at the rim. He also showed he could hit the three-ball consistently.

Rey Rivas PG 5'8" Paloma HS (Menifee Shockers 2027)

Rivas was on the go the entire game. He is a slick ball handler who kept defenders off balance consistently. He also is a very good passer, hitting teammates with no-look passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2397103' first='CJ' last='Medina'] PG 6'0" Columbine (BC Elite 2027)

Medina is a lefty who's good off the dribble and gets to the rim effectively. He also had some very nice passes to teammates. He shot out to the three-point range very well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2149101' first='Jose' last='Saucedo'] Deer Valley (AZ Select James 15U)

Saucedo showed a good feel for the game as he excelled at passing. He also showed that he could get to the rim as a scorer and hit the mid-range shot.
