The second of three Loris Lions to make the 3A All-State team is Khalid. Sherman was second on the team in scoring at 13.4 points per game, while as leading them in assists at 3.7 a game and steals at 2.5 a game. This is Khalid’s third time being named to the All-State Team, plus he has two Region Player of the Year awards to add to the mantle.

Khalid, alongside his brother Khalil, makes up one of the most dynamic backcourts in all of the state. He puts up an impressive 13.8 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.3 steals a night with an excellent frame for playing through contact on both ends. Sherman also plays with a bit of an edge, and Loris seems to play their best basketball when the game is tight. Keep an eye on this Lion team to make a push for the 3A State Championship with this golden group of talent.
