A muscular player who knows how to find the basket and put points on the scoreboard, Svendsen was a handful for opponents to deal with once he established his position in the post. He simply outmuscled and outmaneuvered defenders to score at the rim. If he encountered double teams, Svendsen simply kicked the ball out to an open teammate. He also showed some versatility by stepping outside and making some shots from three-point range. Svendsen is one of the premier players returning in the Big Rivers Conference as he is coming off a junior season where he averaged 14.3 points and 5.3 rebounds.
