The 6'5” 2024 forward concluded a stellar prep career by leading the Eagles to back to back Class 3 state championships.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jones had originally given a commitment to Coastal Carolina last year, but he re-opened his recruitment during the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":1424619,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2022/04/5D203FE6-84CB-4C31-84AE-372B43749A63.jpeg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2022/04/5D203FE6-84CB-4C31-84AE-372B43749A63.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1424619" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a senior, Jones averaged 27 points and 12 rebounds a game while shooting 63 percent from the field in leading New Madrid to a 28-3 record. He finished his career with more than 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. He was selected the Class 3 Player of the Year and as well as earning the Mr. Show-Me Basketball award.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jones becomes the first Mr. Show-Me Basketball award winner to commit to Lindenwood, which is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference. The Lions just completed their second season as a Division I program.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
