About Jiovanni

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Makes the correct read point guard, picks up 94-feet and stays in front of man, communicates(very vocal), able to shoot off the catch and dribble(3 level scorer), creates for teammates, intense, and controls the the pace of the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Positive, consistent, respectful, disciplined, always looking for ways to improve, creative, and I hate losing more than I like winning but when you lose is when you learn the most.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play aau basketball for cobra elite on my school team Hudson high school in the organization YBOA and we travel to tournaments throughout the summer. I also receive academic certificates for at-least an average of a 3.2+ gpa throughout every semester.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m the team captain on the varsity Hudson cobras. I am a very vocal player that shows respect and leadership on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being smaller is a true disadvantage but I believe heart over height and that effort is a skill because if it wasn’t everyone would always be giving all of their effort.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any program I truly fit into, a college that values me. Preferably a d1 or d2 Florida college. But I’ll go anywhere, whatever it takes to get to the next level.
