I viewed 17U and 16U teams. I ended up watching exactly 11 teams of five 16U and six 17U.
Here are some All-League performances for the league.
These are based on the ONE game I viewed the team. These are NOT prospect rankings.
We move over to the 2nd Team Standouts
Colby Jessup Colby Jessup 6'2" | PG Valley Christian | 2026 State AZ Valley Christian (AZ Grind 16)
A cerebral pure point guard can score. He has an ultra quick shooting release with range from the volleyball line. He is one of the better shooters in the class. He shoots it from mid-range with pull-ups and will hesitate to get to the basket. He made a few up the court passes on a rope as well.
Jean Paul Ndong Jean Paul Ndong 6'5" | SF Colorado Prep | 2025 State CO Colorado Prep (AZ Grind 17)
A long wing forward is a high level rebounder and three point shooter. He takes very few strides to get to the basket. He will score on offensive rebound put backs and will block shots off the glass.
Uriah Tenette Uriah Tenette 5'10" | PG Prescott | 2025 State AZ Prescott (Factory 17)
A dynamic scoring point guard may be the most athletic player in the state. He has quick hands and feet on defense to collect steals and deflections. He scores with pull-ups that are hard to defend and fast bursts to the hole. He even jumped over a defender on the break shocking most people watching.
James Steward James Steward 6'8" | PF Marcos De Niza | 2025 State AZ Marcos de Niza (Factory 17)
A powerfully built power forward was an eye catcher on this day. He can rebound in and out of his area and rises up high to coral the board. He can score on drop step dunks, quick spin moves and brings a motor on defense.
Davion Harris Davion Harris 6'1" | CG Hamilton | 2025 State AZ Hamilton (AZ Gremlins 17) (Pictured)
A combo guard was on fire during a stretch in the second half and single handedly brought them back. He was hitting threes off the catch in bunches and smartly cuts without the ball. He uses his long arms to play the passing lanes.
Luke Shaw Luke Shaw 6'3" | CG Valley Christian | 2024 State AZ Valley Chrisitan (Factory 17)
A bigger combo guard is an almost automatic scorer. He was the 3A MVP and left the season with a ring. He will step thru and score with longer strides to the basket then you realize. He uses either hand just as effectively and is exceptional with his left hand. He also shoots the three off the catch with perfect ball rotation.
Noah Gloor Noah Gloor 5'9" | PG Higley | 2026 State AZ Higley (AZ Gremlins 16)
A high level scoring lead guard is a straight bucket. He plays hard on the ball defensively and is a better passer then he gets credited with since he scores it so often. He shoots it from the beyond the arc and can drive the lane with his stronger frame and pull-up from mid.
