Relentless Competitor with Two-Way Versatility and 3-Level Scoring Power Brown is a dynamic, physical guard who plays with a chip on his shoulder and a hunger to win every possession. At 6’1″, he may be undersized on paper—but you’d never know it watching him compete. He’s one of the most disruptive on-ball defenders in his class, capable of locking down positions 1 through 3 and even holding his own against 4s and 5s with sound technique and grit. Defensively, Brown is a menace. He racks up steals, pressures ball handlers, and rebounds well above expectations for his position. His ability to grab boards and immediately initiate the break creates easy transition buckets for his teammates and keeps the tempo in his team’s favor. Offensively, Brown walks the line between playmaker and scorer with poise. He can score at all three levels and has the confidence to take over stretches of a game. When he gets hot from behind the arc, he can score in bunches. He’s also comfortable operating out of the pick-and-roll, controlling pace and making smart reads. Brown has the mentality, motor, and skill set that collegiate coaches value. He’s a true two-way threat who impacts winning—and he’s only getting better.
Brown demonstrated strong two-way skills on the court. He played with a lot of confidence, shooting the ball effectively, scoring in bunches, and creating opportunities for his teammates. He also made several defensive plays, showcasing his quick hands and ability to deflect passes. Brown took initiative during drills and communicated actively on the defensive end. If he incorporates more timely cuts and learns to exploit mismatches, he will be a highly sought-after prospect in the coming years.
A defender’s role is always crucial. Brown stands out as an exceptional perimeter defender, with high-level defensive technique. When fully engaged, he’s capable of neutralizing one side of the court. His presence on the floor can significantly challenge the best perimeter players. His defensive ability will be a valuable commodity he can lean on to get to the next level. Additionally, his ability to shoot from the outside and drive to the rim positions him as a formidable secondary option. As part of a team with seasoned senior talent, Brown is acquiring the experience necessary to assume a more prominent role in upcoming seasons.
