hasn’t had a game where his impact wasn’t felt on the glass. He dominates the boards with excellent timing, often beating everyone to the ball at its apex while showing quick pop off the floor. Hagen’s second jump is what sets him apart, helping him to recover his own misses and clean up teammates’ attempts. Hurst stuffs the stat sheet with rebounding production, averaging 12.3 boards per game with 20 double-doubles and two 20+ rebound performances.

A relentless rebounder with elite instincts, Hurst had an uncanny ability to track the ball’s flight in the air. Whether it came off a deep miss or mid-range shot, he read the trajectory before most even reacted. His anticipation and timing routinely allowed him to beat taller or more physical opponents to the spot. If he couldn’t corral the ball cleanly on the first attempt, he kept the play alive with soft tips or controlled taps to himself. Hurst’s motor never stopped, he was spring-loaded off the floor and secured rebounds in heavy traffic with soft, reliable hands. Offensively, he excelled as a facilitator from the high post, reading cuts, weak side rotations, and movement behind the play with precision. His overhead passing bent the defense and punished late rotations, making him a valuable hub in half-court actions. With poise and polished footwork, he scored efficiently in the lane and showed flashes of a dependable jumper to complement his passing game.
