We made some significant adjustments to the top 20, with Blue Valley Northwest big man Joey Matteoni Joey Matteoni 6'8" | PF Blue Valley Northwest | 2024 State KS rising the highest, and his teammate Jake Fritz making the biggest leap to a top-20 spot. Be sure to check out one small school guy who played his way into the top 20 as well.
As for the biggest riser in the class, we had several guys who jumped more than 20 spots. You will be impressed by how far 6A all-stater Gavin Harvey Gavin Harvey 5'10" | PG Blue Valley West | 2024 State KS (pictured) and 2A champ Kreighton Kanitz Kreighton Kanitz 6'2" | SG McPherson | 2024 State KS rose.
Some guys earned their way into the rankings with really fine senior seasons, let by Wichita East postseason hero Manuel Martinez Manuel Martinez 6'3" | SF Wichita East | 2024 State KS . See where he and fellow big schoolers Teddy Saylor Teddy Saylor 6'4" | SG Shawnee Mission East | 2024 State KS and Brooks Powers Brooks Powers 6'3" | PG Kapaun Mt. Carmel | 2024 State KS entered the list.
We added some very deserving small school ballers as well, led by Riverton’s Loch North Loch North 6'4" | SF Riverton | 2024 State KS and Lebo’s Grayson Shoemaker Grayson Shoemaker 6'1" | SF Lebo | 2024 State KS . Check out where they got slotted.
This is the first update of the Kansas 2024 Player Rankings since Jan. 8, 2024 and will be the final adjustment for the class. Stay tuned for articles about highest risers and new additions to the list.
