Waldron is a high energy guard that would get looks at the Sophomore ID Camp. He’s a true 2 way player that will being a ton of energy on both ends of the floor. Waldron can play a fast game that really pressures his opponents. We’d love to see him show off his game in Grand Rapids.

The Michigan Playmakers are synonymous with elite point guards and Waldron fits that bill just fine. He could be a showstopper at the Sophomore ID Camp. Waldron plays a downhill attacking style. This works well as he’s relentless, shifty and plays well off contact. Waldron showed this summer that he can get buckets both for himself and his teammates.

Waldron plays with I might call a ‘gritty flash’. He can play and finish through contact, but he can also shift around it with his quickness and ball skills. Waldron can stop on a dime and pull up with a little lean that seems to keep defenders at bay.

Waldron Jr. caught people’s attention this grassroots season with the Michigan Playmakers . He was smooth and athletic with the ball. Waldron attacked the rim with a low front shoulder. He shrugged off contact and was able to finish or get his shot off with superior balance.
