Evans stuffs the stat sheet for his high school team, and when you watch him play, it’s easy to see why. He has a non-stop motor on both ends of the floor, in constant motion with or without the ball in his hands offensively, and flying all over the floor defensively. He’s a good ball-handler with great vision who loves to get his teammates involved, and he does a great job getting into the teeth of the defense, getting the defense to commit to him, and then finding open teammates. He’s an adept finisher at the bucket, shoots it pretty well off the dribble, and is really good on the glass for a guard.

Evans was very impressive when I saw him play. Drive Pro Select was physically strong and very aggressive, and Evans was a solid piece of that. He did a nice job manufacturing and finding looks at the rim. Evans was nimble in traffic and showed comfort in his ability to change direction. He could shoot and score off the bounce and had to be challenged with high hands.
