Jace Hoffman Jace Hoffman 5'11" | PG Bishop Seabury | 2026 State KS , 5-foot-11 guard, 2026, Bishop Seabury:
With a bunch of older talent around him, Hoffman is given an impressive amount of freedom. It speaks to what his coaches think of his abilities. He’s a quick playmaker who likes to attack on the bounce just as much as he likes to let it fly from deep. His frequent and accurate shooting opens up the drive for Seabury’s talented guards, and opens the post for entry passes.
Lee Holopirek Lee Holopirek 5'9" | CG LaCrosse | 2026 State KS , 5-foot-9 guard, 2026, LaCrosse:
LaCrosse has such an interesting roster, with big men who can handle the ball and pass it as well as dominate in the interior. Holopirek is able to play off those big men, and he’s given the green light to put it up frequently from deep. He’s hitting a really impressive percentage of those shots and currently leads a talented group in scoring.
Rhett Kats Rhett Kats 6'4" | PF Logan-Palco | 2025 State KS , 6-foot-4 forward, 2025, Logan-Palco:
Kats is unique to this list as a big man who shoots it well. He’s a 20 and 10 man who can beat you in a lot of ways. He doesn’t always hoist a bunch of threes. Some games he doesn’t shoot any shots from behind the arc. But occasionally he makes that part of the attack, and he’s good at it. About a quarter of his total points come on his 34% shooting from deep.
Peyton Ryan Peyton Ryan 5'9" | CG Central Plains | 2024 State KS , 5-foot-9 guard, 2024, Central Plains:
Ever since Ryan popped on the scene as a freshman, we have loved his skill set and competitiveness. The problem was, while he was doing a lot of winning on the tennis court, his teams weren’t doing a lot of winning on the basketball court. But this year, Ryan and company have put together a nice season. Ryan is dangerous from deep all day long and now has that veteran pedigree to put with his natural athletic IQ.
Will Wegerer Will Wegerer 5'10" | CG Cunningham | 2025 State KS , 5-foot-9 guard, 2025, Cunningham:
Cunningham has some nice guards. Since Christmas they are making a real nice run. Wegerer is a playmaking guard who can do more than just fire up threes. But he’s shooting it at a high clip and pulling defenses out of shape for the drive and kick to other shooters. If Wegerer and his teammates continue to shoot it like they have been, they will be a tough out.
