made a noticeable impact on the defensive end for Foothill as he usually does. He was causing turnovers by staying aware of his surroundings and by being active with his hands. Then he began to heat up a bit on offense, both scoring and distributing. By the end of the night he had notched 8 points and 2 assists.

He also took a late charge, which helped the Falcons put the game away. In addition to his scrappy play, he scored 5 straight points in the second quarter. By way of a take to the cup and a 3.

still holds down the #20 spot. He’s a skilled shooting guard for the Foothill Falcons who makes an impact on both offense and defense. On offense, he can pour in shots from beyond the arc or get to the line when he makes a strong drive. While on defense, Espinoza is very active and doesn’t shy away from fighting for loose balls or tying it up.

impressed me with his effort on defense on Sunday against LVBC. He was using his anticipation skills to close in on his opponents and helped force multiple turnovers. He also scored a number of times and hit a nice pull up jumper over a defender.

is a potential stock riser in June due to his size, shooting, and creativity. He has a good feel for the game and knows how to read the defense. Espinoza also knows how to space the floor and floats to open space outside the arc to set up for the 3-point opportunities. On the defensive end, he leverages his wingspan to limit his opponents options. If you’re looking to catch him play, he is with Vegas Elite for AAU.

Cordet is a player that I have watched for a few years now. Each year he has gotten better and I expect no different this year. He saw playing time for Foothill last year as a freshman, and he’s shown that he score and rebound at the varsity level. Now that he’s gotten some experience under his belt, he should be ready to take his offensive game up a notch. Shooting is a strength of his and Foothill may need it.
