District 1: Volcano Vista Over Cleveland

It's hard to see anyone other than Volcano going all the way right now. They're red hot in district play, beating every team in their district by 15+, and winning even without all their players. It's honestly a toss-up between Cleveland and Atrisco Heritage to face them in the championship, but due to Atrisco's lack of consistency recently, I think Cleveland will be able to turn it on late with their playoff experience. Look for either team to be there.

District 2: West Mesa Over Farmington

West Mesa has been red hot recently, purely beating down teams with their physicality and three-point shooting. In perhaps the most stacked division, it really could be any of the top 4 teams to make it. La Cueva has hit their stride lately, and though they've struggled recently, Sandia is still a team that can compete with anyone. Regardless, I think Farmington behind the red-hot hand of [player_tooltip player_id='1166976' first='Cody' last='Vassar-Steen'] will be the ones to challenge the Mustangs

District 3: Organ Mountain over Alamogordo

I said it at the beginning of the season, and I'll say it now, Organ Mountain is one of the best teams in the state. They had their struggles early, but they've turned it on in district and only have one loss on the season. Las Cruces is a sleeper team to see go this far, but Alamogordo has taken care of business against the other teams in the district, and I fully expect them to continue their work to face the Knights.

District 4: Clovis over Carlsbad

This district is the closest as far as team comparison goes. The four-team district of Clovis, Roswell, Carlsbad, and Hobbs have any combination of the 4 in the championship. I believe the size of Clovis will be able to propel them to the overall win, and Carlsbad is strong in crunch time. I believe they'll be able to usurp Roswell for the championship spot (Roswell is currently 2nd in the district, Carlsbad 3rd), but don't be surprised if it goes any which way.

District 5: Los Lunas over Santa Fe

Los Lunas is currently undefeated in district play and a top-10 in team in the state. It's hard to see anyone beat them moving forward in district as they rally behind the play of superstar [player_tooltip player_id='1176298' first='Jalin' last='Holland']. Currently, Albuquerque is 2nd in District 5 and has shown what they can do against anybody. Regardless, I have Santa Fe taking the other championship spot, as they've shown to be strong in big games against tough teams, and [player_tooltip player_id='1897845' first='Lukas' last='Turner'] is as clutch as they come.
