CVC Guard Prospects to Watch in the Mercer County Tournament

The Mercer County Tournament is set to tip and it should be an entertaining tournament to watch. The CVC has plenty of good guard play and it should be on display during the county tournament. The 6'2 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Raba is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the rim. He rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and gets deflections on the defensive end. The 5'9 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get into the paint and finish around the rim. Berman is more than just a slasher as he can also knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He also has the ability to play off the ball and is an underrated defender. The 5'10 guard has a lightning quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish around the rim. Traylor can also score in the mid-range and is unafraid of drawing contact. He finds his open teammates in the halfcourt and is a tough on-ball defender. Bunnell uses his size to see over his defender and rises up with confidence on his jumper. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated defender. The 6'1 guard uses his handle effectively as he can beat his defender off the bounce and finish through contact. Owusu rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and wastes little motion in his release. He is a tough on-ball defender as he makes it hard for his man to get to his spot on the floor.
