SD 2024 Rankings: New Additions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2024 rankings came out this week, and that brought a ton of new additions to the rankings board. In this piece, we have 12 new names that will be mentioned. These 12 I've specifically seen this season and in their new roles with their team. He's filling a large void with the departure of Iowa State commit, Rock. Prep Hoops Dakotas had him tabbed as a breakout in AA and things have been falling into place. He's been a major factor for Sioux Falls Lincoln, and he comes in ranked #52. I was hoping he'd get an opportunity at the varsity level in his Senior season. He's now entered into the Jefferson starting lineup and the three times I've seen him this year, he's shown that same quickness, energy, and ability at the highest level in South Dakota. So he's more than deserving of his ranking. He's got good size and solid athleticism. Does a lot and adds value. Defends and crashes the boards relentlessly. Runs the court and plays his role to perfection. Fauth has been a factor in Aberdeen's success in his Senior season. The starting 2-guard has a solid build at 6'2 and in the few games I've seen, he's been a threat shooting the ball from three. The starting point guard for AC is smooth and controlled. Does a sound job taking care of the ball and gets the ball to playmakers. A true point guard that will defend as well. He has a solid profile, being a long 6'2 point guard. I wouldn't call him explosive, but he's a smooth mover with some leaping ability. I don't see noticeable holes in his game, as he can shoot, with great vision and decision making as a passer. The football recruit looks to be putting on mass by my eye and is playing inside more for Warner. With the ability to go step out on the perimeter and challenge the defense with his jumper. Saw the Ipswich game and he looks like a bull, gearing himself up for college football. With Warner basketball benefiting with him being active as a rebounder and versatile defender. The Senior forward is a main piece for Ethan and their success this season. He's an interesting prospect to study. Brings toughness and energy at 6'4. Ethan relies on him in the interior to rebound and control the paint, but he has a jumper as well. A lean muscular power forward type that plays with movement and grit. Cleans the offensive boards and just seems like that Senior that just wants to win. Both are 6'4 with similar builds. Klumb is highly versatile, being able to get down and defend guards past the three-point line. A guy I like and appreciate his game and what he brings. He's been an important piece for EPJ as the starting wing. He's got good positional length at 6'3 and is active with a motor. He's that slashing do-it-all wing that every team desperately needs.
