Nico Peña Nico Peña 6'1" | CG St. Peter's Prep | 2024 State NJ , 6’1 CG St. Peter’s Prep
Peña is the top available Non-Public A guard and is in the middle of a big senior season. The 6’1 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Peña moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He has an underrated handle and gets deflections on the defensive end. Peña is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should continue to torch the nets from distance throughout 2024.
Michael Van Raaphorst Michael Van Raaphorst 6'3" | SG Delbarton | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 SG Delbarton
Van Raaphorst has had a strong start to his campaign as he’s helped lead the Green Wave to a 9-1 record. The 6’3 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get to the rim and can finish around the basket. Van Raaphorst uses his size to see over his defender and rises up nicely on his jumper. He moves his feet on the defensive end and is a strong rebounder. Van Raaphorst is a gritty guard prospect whose ability to impact the game in a number of ways will help his stock in a big way over the next couple of months.
Elijah Peters Elijah Peters 6'3" | CG Union Catholic | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 CG Union Catholic
Peters has made an impact for the Vikings in his debut season, despite missing the first seven games due to transfer. The JP Stevens transfer attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong above the rim and is unafraid of drawing contact. Peters can also score in the mid-range and is an underrated passer. He has the athleticism to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated passer. Peters is an athletic, slashing guard who will be one to watch throughout the rest of the season.
Andrew Buck Andrew Buck 6'3" | SG Ranney School | 2024 State NJ , 6’3 SG Ranney School
Buck has started off the season hot for the Panthers as he leads them in points, rebounds, assists and blocks. The 6’3 guard has a good first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finish at the rim. Buck is more than just a slasher as he can also knock down jumpers from behind the arc and sets his feet before he shoots. He can find his open teammates in the halfcourt and is a solid rebounder. Buck’s versatility is something that will help his development throughout the course of the season.
Luke Gaccione Luke Gaccione 5'10" | PG St. Mary's (Rutherford) | 2025 New E , 5’10 PG St. Mary’s Rutherford
Gaccione has been running the Gaels’ offense efficiently as he’s helped them to a 9-0 record so far this season. The 5’10 lefty has a smooth release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Gaccione plays with good floor vision as he threads passes to teammates in the halfcourt and rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands. Gaccione’s ability to run the offense is something that will help his game in a big way over the next couple of months.
