With the high school season in full swing, it's time to take a look at some of the top available and underrated seniors in the state. Here's a look at part two of some of the best unsigned players in the Central and Western areas of VA.

[player_tooltip player_id='1948391' first='Dante' last='Kearse'] | 6'5” PF | Hargrave

Kearse has been one of the most productive players in the state since transferring to Hargrave last year and helped them to a state semifinal appearance, and nothing has changed this year as he's off to his usual start. While he may be a little undersized height wise he's a strong and explosive forward who can dominate the paint on both ends of the floor, he finishes everything through traffic, he's a terrific shot blocker and rebounder and he is an unselfish teammate who will do whatever it takes to help his team win.

Marcus Mazeika | 6'3” WG | Woodberry Forest

Mazeika is one of the better less known players in the state as he came to Woodberry last year and got straight to it showing he's a two way wing with a lot of upside with his blend of athleticism and skill. He's much more explosive than you'd think as he can get out in transition or get downhill where he can get up and play through contact or above the rim, he can drill it from deep off the catch and he has great instincts to get deflections and jump passing lanes defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='1403925' first='Jaedon' last='Harris'] | 5'11” PG | John Paul the Great

Harris has been one of the top floor generals in the state for years now, as he has had the reigns at JPG for four years and has helped turn the program around into a competitive group that can go head to head with the best of them. He plays with great poise as a leader and a playmaker and his ability to control the tempo is something you don't see from many guards these days, he has in the gym range and a great middle game to go along with it and he's a very good playmaker with vision and pinpoint passing ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='1260003' first='Reece' last='Ketron'] | 6'8” C | Abingdon

Ketron has been in the shadows with this talented Abingdon squad over the past few years, but he's had a great start to his senior season and he has a lot of qualities at his size that makes him an intriguing prospect for the next level. At 6'8” he has great hands and feet to catch in the paint and use his size to finish over the shoulder, he's an excellent passer with good vision out of double teams and he can step out where he can find cutters and he's able to control the glass and challenge shots without fouling too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598928' first='Amarion' last='Custis'] | 6'2” CG | John Paul the Great

Custis is another reason that JPG has had the turn around they've had over the last few years, as he and Harris have formed a formidable backcourt that compliment each other well and make for a very tough matchup for anyone. Custis is a lightning quick guard who gets downhill and uses his size and body control to finish around the rim, he can get to spots off the bounce or spot up as a shooter and knock down shots and he is a very good on ball defender who can make life miserable for ball handlers too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1948397' first='Luka' last='Matic'] | 6'8” C | Charlottesville

Matic may be a project but he's been showing signs of improvement over the past few years and he's one that could end up as a steal if someone can take him and develop him at the next level. At 6'8” he's a load in the post who can seal and finish in the paint, he rebounds well and protects the rim without fouling and he has shown improvement in his ability to step away from the rim and knock down shots as well.
