<p>The Eagles and scoring leader<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1195250' first='Jett' last='Montgomery']</strong> are on a great run lately. They defeated White Station, Christian Brothers, and Green Hill, in that order. Jett scored 28 points, 26 points, and 15 points respectively. He is now the All-Time Scoring Leader for Independence High, after passing Grayson Murphy this week.</p>

<p>Brentwood played solid, consistent basketball to defeat Tennessee Heat, 66-50. Mr. Basketball-Candidate <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1214939' first='Daniel' last='Cochran']</strong> scored 27 points while sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1911257' first='Hudson' last='McKnight'] </strong>managed 10.</p>

<p>With a Thursday win, Ravenwood improved to 10-0 on the season. According to their Twitter account, this is the longest winning streak in school history. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2042871' first='Rocco' last='Lamuno']</strong> scored 24 points and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1476192' first='Evan' last='Gainer']</strong> scored 14 points.</p>

<p>Franklin dropped a tough one to Cookeville Thursday after defeating Knowledge Academies, 76-42 Wednesday. District play will be a monster, as we anticipated. Franklin will not get many easy games the rest of the way.</p>

<p>The upstart Knights dropped their first game of the year, falling to 9-1 during Blackman's Christmas Classic. One of their most impressive wins so far came against LaVergne mid-December.</p>

<p>The Page High Patriots returned from Alabama with one win in three tries. They lost to Chelsea, 48-42. Then defeated UMS-Wright 52-25 and lost to Oak Mountain, 62-56. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1939414' first='Hunter' last='Moss']</strong> scored 35 points between the final two games.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1390290' first='Issac' last='Power'] </strong>is back after football season. Power's best scoring game came against Chelsea within which he scored 11 of the team's 42 points.</p>
