<p>The week of Thanksgiving I watched 50 teams play (48 from AZ) from Monday-Saturday at five different tournaments. I attended the <strong>Coyote Classic</strong> at Central and Camelback on Monday and Tuesday. I was at Mesa HS for the <strong>Fear the Hop</strong> tournament on Wednesday, The <strong>Valley Christian Tournament</strong> at Seton Catholic, <strong>Welcome to the Jungle </strong>at Gilbert HS on Friday and lastly I attended the <strong>The LV8 Invitational </strong>at Chandler-Gilbert CC on Saturday. </p>

<p>A bigger guard is a good passer and the son of a coach plays the right way. He rebounds well for his position using his size. He is very good inside the paint with hard drives and will score thru contact. He smartly cuts when he should for layups and can throw it down on the break with some bounce. </p>

<p>A shooting guard can score it from two levels. He has the floater game when he gets downhill and can hit the catch three in rhythm. He brings a lot of energy to the court and makes open shots. </p>

<p>A scoring guard who is a catch three point shooter and can pull-up from mid-range. He will score in transition and has a nice floater game. He will get on the glass and rebound despite his size for the undersized team. He is also quick to the ball on defense. </p>

<p>A long and active wing forward transferred in from Paradise Honors and got his chance to shine on this night. He can catch and shoot with jumpers from mid to the three. He also rebounds well in his area and had a poster dunk that surprised even his own teammates. </p>

<p>A wing forward who is skilled and plays with a high IQ for the game. He can hit the catch three and is a good free throw shooter and runs the court well. He will make plays up the court with advanced court vision. </p>

<p>A scoring guard who can catch and shoot from the three point line. He is quick to get a step on his defender and float it in. He is fast in the passing lanes to collect steals and plays with energy. </p>

<p>A scoring guard with a thicker frame who uses floaters and runners in his bag. He will sit down and defend and rebounds well plus he is a sneaky good passer. He can rise up off the dribble from mid-range and drill it. </p>

<p>A strong guard who can score it from the perimeter and can work inside with a thicker frame. He hits the three off the catch and will bully you downhill. He has a floater game that he uses and plays with toughness. He transferred in from Alaska last year. </p>

<p>A transfer in from Indiana has decent size for position and a good frame. He can catch and shoot from the three point line with a very clean stroke. He also shoots it from mid and he will create a little for himself. His IQ is high and he is pretty consistent for them off the ball. </p>

<p>A highly skilled scoring guard plays off of Graves IV well. He is sneaky athletic to rebound and can dribble drive thru the lane and score in traffic. His scoring will be very important for their teams success this season. </p>

<p>A shooting guard who is all effort. He will sprint the court on offense and defense, grab loose balls, rebounds, block shots and scores in transition with his speed. He can hang athletically with any of the top teams in the AIA.</p>

<p>The top shooter on the team has a strap. He is a catch three point shooter with a pure release. He can euro move down the lane to score or will throw a pretty pass. He will ball fake and rise up from mid-range and plays within himself. </p>
