delivered one of the best single game performances (with stakes accounted for) that we’ve seen all season. In Fike’s 84-77 Final Four win over Southeast Alamance, Loftin finished with 40 Points, 4 Assists, 3 Rebounds, and 3 Steals on 12-20 from the floor, 5-6 from deep, and 11-14 from the free throw line. Talk about delivering! Loftin was in a true flow state for his team in what was an incredible game with Southeast Alamance. Loftin’s ability to get to his spots and connect with efficiency and frequency made him quite literally impossible to stop that night. He found a way to channel his best self when it mattered the most. Loftin was getting to the rim, hitting deep off the dribble threes, and simply maximizing his touches and operated with an uncanny confidence. Loftin is continuing to prove that he’s a bonafide next level player and is looking to stamp himself in the history books with a State Championship as Fike will be facing Hunter Huss in the 5A Title Game!

In terms of PG play alone, Loftin was at least a top two guard in attendance over the course of the event. He finished with 22 points 6 assists 2 steals scoring on some nifty floaters and knocking down a couple of three pointers as well. He’s shown for two years now the ability to score it or dish at high level, stock riser in the near future.

Loftin finds himself at the No. 8 point guard spot out of Fike High in the 252 area. He produced a team-high 6.1 assists per game at the point guard spot for the Demons as a sophomore along with 9.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest. His ability to get downhill and make things happen as a playmaker is an asset in the 2027 rankings. He’s one to keep eyes on this spring/summer with Big Shots Elite NC on the independent side of things.

The MVP of the 16U Slam Division, Loftin is playing at a whole different level at the point guard spot. His ability to know when to score and when to find others to make plays was pivotal in their run to the 16U Slam Title with a talented core on Dub Salem . He’s prime for a big grassroots campaign after a productive year at Fike.

Loftin makes his debut at No. 17 in the 2027 player rankings following an impressive scoring display with New Life Christian Academy out of Rocky Mount. He poured in 24.1 PPG, 5.2 APG, 4.6 SPG and 3.1 RPG on 49 percent shooting from the floor and 39 percent shooting from deep in his freshman year with the Warriors. At 5-foot-10, he knows how to be an effective presence already at the lead guard role. He’s a floor general to keep early eyes on in the class this spring/summer with Team Trezz Loftin.

Loftin is the second leading freshman scorer in the entire state, putting in 24.3 PPG and 5.3 APG already. His point guard abilities are apparent, where he’s able to play with vision and composure, averaging almost 5 assists for every turnover. He can shoot it from deep too, knocking down 40 threes so far at a 39% clip. His offensive game is already so refined and mature, we may be looking at another stud point guard to lead his class.

This is a new kid that’s hitting the block this year, but Loftin has wasted no time showing off his shooting prowess. 28 threes in 8 games, hitting at a 47% rate means the kid can really shoot. He’s a floor general who has no problem pulling up and shooting or making the next pass. He’s got a lot of basketball ahead of him, but it’s exciting to see a freshman play with such impressive skill.
