CJ Quirino CJ Quirino 6'1" | PG/CG Pebble Hills Texas | 2025 TX led Pebble Hills with a team-high 13 points against Coronado this past Friday in a must-win situation for the Spartans. His game-winner came via a downhill drive going left at the buzzer. Quirino getting to the cup and scoring is the most reliable aspect of the Pebble Hills offense, and it won them another game. After missing so much time over the past two years with injury, Quirino is having a stellar senior season, with another special moment added this past Friday.

I’m so glad to see this kid back and healthy for his senior year. Now that he’s back, El Paso and the Borderland get to see one of the better on-ball scoring guards this area has to offer. The kid gets to the cup whenever and however he wants. He is nifty and has a knack for navigating overly congested spaces on the floor. Moreover, he’s a great leaper and has a quick second jump, so offensive rebounds and putbacks are all there for the taking with Quirino. And if he isn’t finishing at the rim, he is probably getting to the line. He’s a double-digit scorer every game he plays even if the jumper isn’t falling.

CJ Quirino CJ Quirino 6'1" | PG/CG Pebble Hills Texas | 2025 TX is another 2025 prospect who had his junior year soured by injury but when healthy he is easily one of the most dynamic guards in the Borderland. He’s best deployed with the ball in his hands in transition where he can play make or finish at the rim. He’s one of those guards you need to pick up full-court because if you give him space to attack he’s great at penetrating. Pebble Hills lost some major guard depth to graduation so Quirino will have an opportunity to really excel his senior year if he can stay healthy.
