Bradwell Institute (16-9)

A strong nucleus is in place for the Tigers, who are the defending Region 1 champs. Big body football prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1810013' first='Elyjah' last='Thurmon'] (16.2 ppg, 13.4 rpg) can move mountains inside. [player_tooltip player_id='1587027' first='Tahshaun' last='Frasier'] is a savvy playmaker that averaged 11.7 points and 4.2 assists while 6-foot-6 sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1696174' first='Christopher' last='Perry'] is the lottery ticket, a high ceiling prospect that could explode at any time and lead Bradwell Institute deep into the playoffs. The do-everything swingman averaged 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1 steal and 1.3 blocks per game in Year 1.

Tucker (19-8)

Graduation and transfers hurt Tucker, but the Tigers welcome back Region Player of the Year [player_tooltip player_id='1131776' first='Josiah' last='Lawson'] along with [player_tooltip player_id='1458271' first='Khayri' last='Dunn']. [player_tooltip player_id='1438740' first='Corde' last='Neyland'] is back in the GHSA and could provide a lift on the perimeter.

Decatur (18-9)

Even with Quay Wallace leaving for Columbia, Decatur still has a strong core intact. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2046336' first='Luke' last='Brooks'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2046337' first='Alden' last='Daniels'] are tough covers, Brooks a long guard that strokes it from deep and Daniels a 6-foot-6 stretch-forward with a smooth game. Sophomore point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2047515' first='Bryce' last='Howson'] is wise beyond his years, a rock-steady playmaker that can be relied upon at all times.

Winder-Barrow (20-9)

It will be exciting to watch what [player_tooltip player_id='1696246' first='Jerrin' last='Samuel'] can do for an encore in Year 2 after averaging 12.4 points per game as a freshman. He has help in the form of Tyrin Sims in the backcourt and 6-foot-6 Zay Nunley inside. New additions [player_tooltip player_id='2375375' first='JD' last='Estime'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2111496' first='Jaden' last='Baskin'] will help a lot. Baskin averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks while at Athens Christian.
