PHH Prep Classic: SF’s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>October 7th-8th I attended the&nbsp;<strong>PHH Prep Classic</strong>&nbsp;located at the Phhacility in Phx, AZ. There were 20+ prep teams in attendance over the weekend from OR, CA, WA, MN and Arizona.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here were some of the standout 2024-25 SF's:</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2206144' first='Tristan' last='Beckford'] Hillcrest Prep (Pictured)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A great athlete who is an elite defender. He will block opposing guards often, take charges and is a very good defender on and off the ball. He is a plus rebounder for his size and can score. He can hit the catch three and is a high level above the rim athlete. He is a sneaky good passer and sensational on the break.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2230063' first='Cham' last='Okey'] Phhoenix Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A strong framed wing forward who can shoot it. He can get downhill in traffic with tough euro moves and contested drives. He is a plus rebounder in and out of his area and plays the passing lanes. He changes speeds well and also comes with a little burst. He can jab step and rise up from mid-range. He is quick in the passing lanes and plays above the rim on the break.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='937184' first='Brayden' last='Gant'] <strong>Phhoenix Prep</strong> EIBC</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long and athletic wing forward who is doing a post grad year. He is one of the more versatile defenders and playmakers. He is a phenomenal passer and rebounder using his size and quick instincts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2231101' first='Carlos' last='Duecker'] Premier Prep Tucson</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A good sized wing forward who can let it fly from deep. He squares up perfectly and gets it off his hands quickly from well beyond the three point line. He is very confident and looks to be a specialist for the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1896209' first='Adam' last='Grissom'] <strong>Phhoenix Prep</strong> OTE&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A big bodied wing forward who defends multiple positions. He has a nice burst and first step to get into the lane. He can face-up and shoot the three or work in the post with quick spin moves. He is way above the rim on the break. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1009138' first='Nathan' last='Burrell'] Phhoenix Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A strong framed wing has become way more athletic. He can hit the corner three with confidence and has a cleaner stroke then a year ago. He can dribble drive and takes contact well to score thru it. He has long arms and a strong upper body. He collects steals, blocks shots and he is a star in transition. He has quick hands and takes off like a track star on the break. He scores on put backs and like the mid-range jumper. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
