made a major impression at The Expo in Sioux Falls, standing out as likely the best player in the gym. O’Gorman coaches are equally high on him, praising not only his talent but also his work ethic and leadership. A recent addition to the OG squad from SF Jefferson, Braylen brings energy, dedication, and an unselfish style of play that immediately elevates those around him. I love how he talks his game. Always in motion, he thrives in the open court and transition, capable of putting up points while creating opportunities for his teammates. His relentless energy, love for the game, and commitment to being a true teammate make him an invaluable presence for O’Gorman this season. With Braylen on the roster, the Knights are gaining a dynamic, hard-working player who can make an immediate impact on both ends of the floor.

He ran the floor hard in transition and constantly put pressure on the defense, leading to several easy baskets just off hustle alone. His ability to sprint the lanes and stay active gave his team a consistent scoring option on the break. Defensively, he brought a scrappy edge—contesting shots, staying in plays, and making the extra effort plays. Around the basket, he finished well through contact and made the most of his touches inside.

I have watched him in the past at Prep Hoops events and Braylen is skilled, resourceful, crafty, and has a good feel for the game. He plays hard, fast, and makes positive plays in transition. Yellow Bird is also a scrappy defender. Can Braylen beat physical defenders off the bounce and cash in from 3?

Braylen was with Sioux Falls Jefferson last season and he’s now hooping with O’Gorman. He looked like a key guy for them. His defensive ability might be a talking point and factor in him being a key contributor for O’Gorman. He brings an overall intensity and desire on defense. He was put on Wassanaar and Yellow Bird accepted the challenge without fear.
