Tremayne Hawkins Tremayne Hawkins 6'7" | PF Grace Brethren | 2024 State MD | Clinton Grace Christian
I could rattle off multiple names on this Clinton Grace squad, but Hawkins will be the one I use for this post. A 6-foot-7 forward, Hawkins had a solid showing throughout DMV Live to spark interest from programs at all levels. He crashes the glass hard with purpose, finishing strong around the rim and has shown improvement with his shot out to 17 feet.
DeMarcus Daniel Jr. | Gwynn Park
Daniel is a high volume shot maker from three. Now standing at 6-foot-4, the southpaw has smooth mechanics on his release and has shown flashes of improved playmaking with the ball in the open floor. Daniel brings size, shooting and will be a key cog for a good Gwynn Park group this season.
Paul Gross Paul Gross 6'4" | SG Dulaney | 2024 State MD | Dulaney
Gross is a big guard at 6-foot-4 with a solid frame and brute strength. He’s a handful when he gets downhill and can absorb contact with ease on his way to the cup. He’s a good athlete as well, which comes to light with his rebounding numbers and in transition, he’s liable to throw down powerful dunks.
Caleb Burgess | Patterson
Burgess has good size as a combo forward at 6-foot-5 and through his early years playing with Team Thrill , was always capable of putting together highlight plays in the air. Patterson has an interesting group of guys and if they can play with cohesion, should be a tough opposition in Baltimore City.
Nick Goldberg Nick Goldberg 6'3" | SG Churchill | 2024 State MD | Winston Churchill
Admittedly I haven’t seen Goldberg since the high school season, but his performances always stuck with me even when sharing the backcourt with a prospect as talented as 2023 Isaiah Mbeng. Goldberg stands 6-foot-3 and can get it going from deep once he sees one fall. He plays with a competitive edge and swagger to him that uplifts teammates on the floor and is an underrated impact playing off the bounce.
