Calhoun is sending a message this grassroots season. He’s started to grab some interest from coaches at the next level, and for good reason. Calhoun has a next level frame and he knows how to use it when he attacks the rim with a straight line drive.

Calhoun caught the eye of some coaches with his play at the Memphis Live. He’s so strong and aggressive with the ball. Calhoun showed that he’s at his best attacking space with a quick 2 dribble drive, then either scoring through a defender or dishing off when the defense collapses in. Calhoun was a willing defender that can use his strength.

Live Period is go time and that’s when Calhoun shines the brightest. He’s a powerful guard that can straight line drive right through defenders. Calhoun is at his best going downhill. He can finish and score through contact. Calhoun is one of the better rebounding guards that you’ll see this weekend in Memphis.

Calhoun is really the definition of attack mode. He wants to get at the rim and he will take the quickest path there. Calhoun will drive through contact and get at the bucket.
