Moeshae Ward | 6’9 F/C | 2027
Moeshae Ward is a skilled big with a strong feel for the game and the ability to score in bunches. He finished with 18 points, knocking down two threes, showing how quickly he can change the momentum when he gets going.
Ward uses his body well inside, carving out space and finishing through contact, while also stretching the floor with his shooting. His quick trigger from the perimeter makes him a difficult matchup, as defenders can’t afford to sag off. With his combination of size, touch, and confidence from deep, Moeshae Ward continues to trend upward as a versatile forward in the 2027 class.

He’s established himself as NorCal’s #1 big man in this class, with an opportunity to take his game, and ranking to another level. He’s a big body, will get stronger standing 6’9. He has a combination of touch, and power around the rim, for scoring and rebounding. He can drop 3-pointers around the perimeter. He’s an improving post defender.

He’s 6’8 with a body that needs firming up, get stronger, and condition himself. He’s capable of being hard to defend on the low block at this level. He has an upside, but will have to put in the work. He’s a big that can make 3-pointers, get rebounds, and defend his position with improved post footwork. He can be a double, double guy at this level if he wants to.

Ward played his way off the Watch List this Spring. He’s grown in size, has a big body with improving movements. He has work to do but is showing he can do things on the court for a player his size. He has the body and strength to put points on the board in the paint, though more foot work is needed. He looked comfortable putting up 3’s from the perimeter. He’s making progress. Late bloomer?
