Preseason Player of the Year: 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1476992' first='Lucas' last='Frohwein'] (Colo-Nesco)

First Team

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1476992' first='Lucas' last='Frohwein'] (Colo-Nesco): 18.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.4 steals, 51.5 FG%

Frohwein, a mobile 6-3 forward, is the top returning scorer and rebounder in the division and is the focal point of a Royals team that we expect to be the team to beat in the division. Look for him to have a huge season.

2024 Jabari Woodbury (GMG): 15.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 3.4 steals, 51.9 FG%

Woodbury is able to create some chaos on both ends of the floor as one of the best athletes in the division. He can get to the bucket for finishes, competes on the glass, and uses his length to make a major impact as a defender.

2025 Josh Dostal (North Tama): 15.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.1 blocks

The Redhawks won just six games last season, but with their top three scorers returning, they should be improved and Dostal is a major reason why. A talented 6-1 guard who led the team in scoring and assists as a sophomore, he's in line for a big season as a stat-sheet stuffer.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='2325277' first='Treyton' last='Travis'] (Baxter): 12.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.9 steals

The Bolts were undefeated in league play last season, and Travis was a significant reason why. He provides some athleticism and playmaking on the perimeter, and following the graduation of the top two, and four of the top five, from last year's team, he should have a huge role as a scorer and playmaker.

2025 Josef Dvorak (Collins-Maxwell): 10.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.4 steals, 51.0 FG%

Dvorak is undersized as a big man (listed at 5-11 last season), but he pounds the glass relentlessly. Last season, he pulled down an eye-popping 5.6 offensive rebounds a game.
