Adams is an active post player who does a little bit of everything with his play. He used his length to alter shots from an array of different spots on the floor. Adams had no problem being the janitor and capitalizing of 2nd chances efforts with points of his own. He was active on the glass collecting rebounds. He showed flashes of finding others with his passing. He found ways to score at the charity stripe. He plays with an assertive motor and would be a great add for a scholarship program.

The lone unsigned senior to make the list has looked solid both times I’ve seen him this grassroots season. With the Team Takeover squad, he has the ball in his a lot more than during the school season so he’s been able to show some playmaking and shooting that you like to see from guys his size. One to track going into the first live period season.

The main senior contributor in a talented lineup of primarily juniors, Adams has shown himself to worthy of scholarship-level looks with his size and skill level up front. He’s swifter than his bulkier frame would have you believe, showing craftiness as a finisher inside with both touch and power. Adams has also shown to be a threat to space the floor out to the arc. There’s valid questions about his defensive fit at the D1 level, but D2 and NAIA programs should be on him at this point, with the chance for him to look like a steal should he drop to the small-college level.

No. 122 – No. 92

Bryce has rapidly improved his game this season and become a force for Clinton Grace. He has expanded his offensive game to the perimeter, becoming effective out on the wing or even pushing the ball in transition. Bryce is a beast defensively inside the paint, absorbing tough rebounds over the bigs and protecting the basket by sliding into help on time. Bryce really started to find his footing midway through the year, consistently becoming a factor in Clinton Grace’s strong late-season push. Bryce is using his 6’8″ frame at a high level now, looking to finish strong inside and defend well, whether in the post or rotating over to contest. Most recently has been adding in some big scoring games over double figures along with his defense and rebounding impact. Interesting forward prospect who is still available in the 2025 class.

12p 5r 2b 1s vs Ireton

-Really liked the workmanlike contributions from CG’s sturdy big man in a narrow loss to Ireton at home. A stock-rising forward that should see a nice bump in the next set of rankings, Adams was a mainstay for CG throughout the night on the glass but also showed that he has worked hard on the perimeter jumper with a C+S pick n pop three from the top of the key in the beginning of the game. Adams scored on slips to the rim, rotated well defensively to erase shots at the rim, and had a massive putback bucket with under a minute left with one arm being held down as he fought with an opponent for the rebound. His slip to the rim cut it to 3 with 25 seconds left. Love his ability to generate his own offense on the glass and within the flow of the game as he develops chemistry with an entirely new starting five on the floor for CG.

This long and lanky big man can really run the floor, attack and block shots on defensive end and snare rebounds off the glass. He is a serviceable offensive player whose developing skill points to a big upside but did a nice job catching and finishing in traffic! A College level prospect. Programs should take note. Finish the game with 14 points on 6-11 from the field and 2-4 from the 3pt line.

10p 6r 8b 1a 1s vs Riverdale

-Adams was everywhere defensively for a CG that struggled to score throughout the night and really needed his shot-blocking (8!!!) to stay in the game. Strong with a good frame, Adams is a consistent shot-blocker both on and off the ball. I wouldn’t say he’s comfortable guarding on the perimeter but he can move well enough to stay with wings and chests up well on drives to avoid a whistle. His motor also runs hot on the backboards as a tenacious rebounder, outworking double teams on the block to corral misses and kick out to his shooters. If he can finish around the basket with either hand and speeds up his shooting mechanics to become a consistent C+S midrange guy– he would be a consistently-potent offensive option.
