Each player competed in 5 games for the two days plus 60 competed in an extra All-Star Game. (Top-20, Top-40 and a Non-Senior All-Star Game)
We start breaking down each team. (We have an all Tucson team here, which is great to learn about some of the best players down South.)
Next up is Team California
Jordan Porter Jordan Porter 5'8" | PG Mica Mountain | 2026 State AZ Mica Mountain
An undersized sophomore pure point guard is very quick. He plays with his head up the whole game looking to push the pace and will throw the ball up the court. He has the floater game and a burst to get by the defender plus he can shoot the three. He will be a steady ball handler for Coach Lee in Tucson.
Cyree Jenkins Cyree Jenkins 5'10" | PG Cholla | 2025 State AZ Cholla
A newcomer for me shined. He is an elite on-ball defender with real speed end to end plus a quick first step. The lefty has a nice stroke from the perimeter but his open court speed stands out. He has a polished floater game and is a very good passer. Once he turns the corner on his defender, he is at the rim very quickly.
Michael Payne Michael Payne 5'9" | PG Cholla | 2025 State AZ Cholla
A dynamic undersized guard with serious speed and skill. He can pull-up from anywhere on the court with deep range beyond the three. He uses his jets to burst into the lane to score with advanced body control and his euro game is tough. He is a very good live dribble passer with multiple dimes per game. He showed out both days and was clutch in the Top-20 game.
Moses Bahige Moses Bahige 6'2" | CG Inspire Prep National | 2024 State AZ Cienega
A tough guard who will defend and score. He can hit the catch three better then I initially thought and get to the basket with some speed with the ball. He will throw smart passes to teammates up the court and truly hustles on defense. He will collect steals and even block shots with his motor to compete.
Gerron Jr Graham Gerron Jr Graham 6'2" | PG Premier Prep Tucson Academy | 2025 State AZ Premier Prep Tucson
A savvy bigger point guard plays at his own speed. He will throw players open with next level court vision. His stronger frame and build allows him to take contact better. He works well with the pick and roll game and slips it in perfectly to a cutter or open shooter. He can hit the three and pull-up.
Trevon Harrison Trevon Harrison 6'0" | SG Premier Prep Tucson | 2025 State AZ Premier Prep Tucson
A defensive scoring guard loves to attack the rim. He is very quick and way more athletic then you realize for his size. He uses the backboard to protect him with reverse layups and doesn’t mind the contact inside. He is a very good on ball defender and plays with real energy.
Quintin Ragland Quintin Ragland 6'1" | SG Tucson | 2025 State AZ Tucson
A two-way shooting guard uses his stronger upper body, long arms and quick twitch to keep his opponents in front of him. He can hit from mid-range and smartly cuts when he should for layups. He is very good in transition and his motor rarely stops on both ends of the court.
Alexander Werner Alexander Werner 6'4" | SF Premier Prep Tucson Academy | 2025 State AZ Premier Prep Tucson
A versatile wing forward does a little bit of everything. Defensively he will cover a lot of ground and defend many positions plus is a great rebounder in and out of his area with a real motor. Offensively he can euro his way to the basket and his skill is steadily improving from the perimeter and the three point line specifically.
Isaiah Berg Isaiah Berg 6'7" | PF Mica Mountain | 2024 State AZ Mica Mountain
A burly framed power forward has good size and strength. He rebounds everything near him with his broad shoulders and longer arms and can rattle in threes off the catch surprisingly well. He will score in the paint and almost seeks the contact. He can carry the Tucson team many nights on both sides of the court.
Jamal Ali Jamal Ali 6'7" | PF Sahuaro | 2025 State AZ Sahuaro (Pictured)
A power forward who is pushing six foot seven. He is a post player who rebounds at a high level and will protect the paint as a shot blocker and enforcer. He is a sneaky good passer for position and can step out and shoot the three. He can keep improving his post footwork but shows promise. One to track in Tucson.
