No. 44 Andrew Nagy Andrew Nagy 6'8" | PF Orange Lutheran | 2024 CA-S : Orange Lutheran, Veritas
Nagy is one of the better interior scorers that we have in SoCal. The 6-foot-8 forward has great feel in the paint, touch with either hand, and can score around the basket with power or finesse. What stands out most about Nagy is his high motor. He competes on both ends and doesn’t take plays off.
No. 47 Carrington Pierce Carrington Pierce 6'1" | CG Etiwanda | 2024 State CA-S : Etiwanda, Prodigy Elite
Pierce’s dynamic playmaking ability in the open court is what helped him to a 16-spot jump in the latest rankings. The 6-foot point guard is smart and quick with the ball in his hands and has a strong base that allows him to stay on balance through contact. Like most Etiwanda guys, Pierce is a two-way guy who makes ball handlers uncomfortable with his on-ball pressure.
No. 52 Jonathan Moxie Jonathan Moxie 6'2" | CG Santa Margarita | 2024 State CA-S : Santa Margarita, Los Angeles Elite
Moxie had a big spring and summer with his high school and club programs. The 6-foot-2 point guard is a steady and reliable ball handler and decision-maker whose ability to manage the pace and tempo of a game while taking care of the basketball makes him a trustworthy lead guard. Moxie showed some improved confidence as a scorer, especially when getting into the lane.
No. 53 Brian Amunueke Brian Amunueke 6'4" | SF Rancho Christian | 2024 State CA-S : Rancho Christian, Dream Vision
Amunueke broke out with Rancho Christian this season and carried that momentum into the spring and summer. The 6-foot-4 wing is one of the biggest risers if we’re talking in terms of spot differential as he jumped 24 spots from 77 to 53. Amunueke is a long, wiry and athletic slasher and finisher whose transition prowess and defensive potential are what make him and intriguing prospect at the next level.
No. 57 Desman Botts Desman Botts 6'4" | SF Mayfair | 2024 State CA-S : Mayfair
There are few prospects with the combination of size, strength and explosive athleticism that Botts has. The 6-foot-5 wing is at his best when he gets downhill and into the lane where he can elevate and finish over defenders or absorb and finish through contact. Botts is also a versatile defender with his combination of physicality and lateral and vertical athleticism.
