Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I excel at controlling the tempo of the game, strategically using bursts of speed to create opportunities while slowing down the pace when necessary. I am a high-volume shooter with the ability to score effectively both inside and from beyond the arc, including range extending to the volleyball line. My playmaking skills enable me to create quality scoring opportunities for teammates.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I pride myself on maintaining a strong and stable mentality, staying composed through both highs and lows without letting them affect my performance. I have confidence in my abilities, which allows me to compete at a high level consistently. Additionally, I embrace a leadership role on my team, guiding and motivating my teammates to perform at their best.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
In the past, I played for Beyond The Game, a nonprofit organization based in Fargo, North Dakota. This year, I am considering transitioning to a new program to further develop my skills and maximize opportunities to showcase my talent. Programs like D1 Minnesota and Sanford Sports Academy are among those I’m exploring to elevate my game and reach the next level.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Through basketball, I have developed a strong sense of leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to community service, both on and off the court. These values extend to my efforts in the classroom and beyond. The game has taught me life lessons that go far beyond the court, shaping me into not just a better athlete, but a better person overall.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
My ankle injury this past summer created a setback in my development, but it also became a valuable learning experience. It taught me to persevere through adversity and adapt my game on the court. This challenge has strengthened my resilience and determination, making me a more versatile and mentally tough athlete.
What type of college are you looking for?
My ultimate goal is to play professionally, and I’m open to any path that helps me reach the next level. I’m fully committed to starting at a JUCO program if needed and using that opportunity to develop my game and advance to a higher D1 or D2 level.
