Summer Challenge: Saturday Standouts

Solid floor generals are rare in the modern game, especially at the high school level. But this is what separates Slater from the rest of his peers. The WHE point guard is a dynamic passer and ball handler. I really value Slater's skill set, specifically on the offensive end of the court. You don't see many prospects make their teammates better like Slater does. He is a young prospect with plenty of things left to improve upon. However, where he stands now, Slater has several impressive skills that must be noted. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Liam Devine -- SG -- 24:UP</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Devine is a tough, physical prospect who gets the job on both ends of the court. I absolutely love the effort and intensity that the shooting guard plays with. On the defensive end of the court, Devine makes winning plays. He uses his quick hands to create steals, which lead to transition opportunities. Devine also uses his positional size to guard bigger players effectively. Offensively, the SG is sneaky good. He won't necessarily blow you away with flashy moves, but Devine consistently finds creative ways to score. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Elijah Gammage -- PG -- 24:UP</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gammage is certainly a name to track closely in Wisconsin's 2026 class. The 24:Up point guard is a true two way prospect who gets the job done on both ends of the court. Gammage's versatility is what could make him a big-time prospect at the college level. He is a great on-ball defender, a capable passer, shifty as a ball handler, and dynamic as a scorer. Gammage proved on Saturday that he is the full package. I would suggest that college programs keep a close eye on the 24:Up prospect. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jaiden Dunlap -- PG -- Next Level 24</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dunlap caught my eye on Saturday. Even though his team fell short in a close game, I still thought that the point guard was able to impress. I really like what Dunlap brings to the table as a slasher and scorer. Even though he is a bit undersized for his position, Dunlap still is able to find ways to get buckets. He has a quick first step and is creative as a finisher around the cup. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Daniel Turner -- F -- [program_tooltip program_id='2078838' first='World' last='Hoops Elite']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2078838' first='World' last='Hoops Elite'] has produced plenty of quality prospects over the years. Daniel Turner looks to be the next star to come out of the Kenosha-based AAU program. In a win on Saturday, Turner scored 12 points, most of which came in the paint. Turner is still very junior in his development. If he continues to improve, I believe that the forward could reach high heights in Wisconsin high school hoops. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
