UO team camp has traditionally been a place for players to put their names on the radar against top notch competition. Here are a few names that have been garnering buzz in the recruiting community!
Ashton Acrey Ashton Acrey 5'11" | CG Crater | 2024 State OR G Crater 2024
Acrey was all conference for the Comets last year and forms one of the best back courts in southern Oregon along with Ty Dahlin Ty Dahlin 6'3" | SG South Medford | 2024 State OR . He is the main facilitator for the offense and looks to get the rest of the team going before he looks to score himself. Acrey has shown the ability to put the ball in the bucket when he needs to.
Kyle Bittle Kyle Bittle 6'3" | PF Crater | 2025 State OR F Crater 2025
Bittle has been on a tear with his West Coast Elite team this spring and early summer. The rising junior will be one of the players to keep an eye on in Southern Oregon. He comes from an athletic family with his brother currently playing basketball at Oregon and his sister set to start her collegiate volleyball career at Corban University this fall. Kyle has shown great athleticism on break away dunks this spring as well as an improved handle.
Peyton Bruner Peyton Bruner 6'3" | PG Grants Pass | 2025 State OR G Grants Pass 2025
Grants Pass is looking to build on their success from last year and Bruner looks to be a big part of that push. Bruner does a little bit of everything with a solid jump shot and the ability to play above the rim.
Ty Dahlin Ty Dahlin 6'3" | SG South Medford | 2024 State OR G Crater 2024
Dahlin has been a steady force for the Comets over the last few years. Stepping into his senior year he will look to take on a larger leadership role as Crater attempts to get back to Corvallis.
Traeger Healy G North Medford 2026
Healy is a rising sophomore and has been shooting the lights out this spring at a 43% clip from deep. He is also shoot the three at a high volume with multiple games where he finished with more than six from deep. He has also shown a willingness to venture into the trees and grab some much needed rebounds.
Houston Klug Houston Klug 6'3" | SF North Medford | 2024 State OR G North Medford 2024
Klug is a multi sport athlete and is just getting back into the swing on the court after track season. The athletic wing can score at all three levels. Klug is the key player for North Medford as they push toward the top of the Southwestern Conference.
Gavin McLean Gavin McLean 6'3" | SF Grants Pass | 2024 State OR G Grants Pass 2024
McLean will be one of the top shooters for coach Joel Jessee and the Cavemen. If Grants Pass wants to push South Medford in the Southwest Conference they will need McLean to be solid across the board and contribute in different ways.
Tyler McIntosh G Grants Pass 2024
McIntosh provides movement and action to the Caveman offense. He has shown an ability to get to the rim off the dribble and through perfectly timed basket cuts. McIntosh gives Grants Pass another dimension on offense.
