About LaDaryl
Expert Analysis
Victor Scott | Prep Hoops Scout
Robinson plays with a paced tempo, controlling possessions with his face up game and a natural feel for creating advantages. He’s effective in ball screens, uses his good hands to gather and attack on short rolls. His ability to get two feet in the paint forces rotations and opens scoring opportunities for teammates is underrated. Defensively, he competes and uses quick hands to disrupt shots around the rim. His IQ, floor instincts, and ability to impact multiple areas of the game will determine his ceiling in college.

Robinson brings nice positional size at 6’7″ with the mobility to defend and the strength to anchor the paint. His face-up game is evolving, and he’s comfortable initiating offense from the high post. Robinson’s rebounding instincts and rim protection give him two-way value, and his frame suggests he’s just scratching the surface physically. With continued polish on his jumper and ball handling, he projects as a forward with stretch potential.

5/3/25: Maybe the best forward in the entire event. LaDaryl Robinson Jr. was quick off of his feet. Few teams kept him from rebounding offensively. Robinson projects as a throwback “4”. Robinson Jr. did not show off shooting range. He was needed around the rim on both ends. Note that LaDaryl is not a Tennessee guy. He plays and lives in Marion, Arkansas.
