Harris made his leap into the top-25 after a strong finish to the season for Glenelg Country. Although the Dragons fell short of capturing the MIAA A Conference or MDPSSBT title, the lengthy 6-foot-8 hybrid forward had stretches of proving himself as the high-upside prospect that his frame offers. The skillset continues to round out nicely as he becomes more confident from the point of attack. He was creating his own offensive opportunities with increased fluidity since the new year and his defensive tools are apparent with his elite wingspan. Harris did a better job of leaving his mark in the rebounding category as well while posing as a true grab-and-go threat. It’s clear that Brown secured one of the more intriguing long-term prospect in the state with Harris’ commitment prior to the season.

17p 12r 1a 2b vs Pallotti

-The Brown commit showed the full range of his skillset in a good win over Pallotti on the road. Harris knocked down a turnaround paint jumper, was fouled but still knocked down a wing 3 then raced back to block an extension layup other end. Harris then scored on a face cut lay through contact , bumped his matchup then hit the floater off the window, and had a beautifully-timed back cut for a dunk along baseline to make it 8 point game late in the 4Q. His blend of perimeter skill, off-ball movement, positional size, and athleticism should make him an impactful wing in the Ivy League.

In comparison to the first meeting against Mount St. Joe this season, Harris completely flipped the script and came out like a man on a mission with aggression on both ends. The young, high-upside forward is one of the more intriguing long-term bets in the area due to his size, elite length and skillset that continues to improve. Last night, Harris spent time showing off some touch from mid-range after getting to his spots. Whether it was in a designed mid-post touch or Harris taking his man off the bounce from beyond the arc, he’d use his size to rise over the defender and didn’t allow a contest to contort his mechanics. He made over a handful of impressive plays above the rim, but no sequence was more loud than Harris pinning a lay-up against the backboard and and trailing in transition where a teammate found him in stride as he finished the job dunking over defender with one hand. The high hopes that we have for Harris as he prepares to head to Brown for his collegiate career will continue after a strong 20-point outing despite the loss.

Previous Rank: 46

-Our scouts have loved Harris’ continued development and growth over the past two seasons as a W/F tweener that has grown his game quite a bit. Harris can put the ball on the floor, create his own shot from the midrange, and be effective as both a driver and C+S sniper. His activity defensively has picked up and he’s done a much better job of guarding multiple spots/protecting the rim for the Dragons. Harris parlayed a productive DMV Live into a nice boost to his recruitment before eventually committing to Brown.

Harris is a rangy live body forward who is always a threat to make a highlight play on either end of the floor. He is as long as a dirt road and uses his length throughout his play. Harris is a budding 3-D man who is effective getting steals, rebounds, and blocks. He can finish above the rim and slithers to different spots on the floor. He is a prospect who should see more traction at the low and mid major levels and best basketball is on the horizon.

81 –> 54

Drew has looked like a completely different player recently for Glenelg Country. Had a monster DMV Live performance in both sessions, boasting huge double-double numbers and remaining a consistent, reliable option for his team. Drew has always been a dependable rebounder and hustle guy when he’s on the court. This has only improved as he’s added more to his overall game. He can hit jumpers everywhere around the floor and is always ready to put up the quick shot when his teammate makes the drop-off feed. Created for himself some off-the-dribble in a confident manner, hitting pullups and short floaters inside. Tremendous play lately that has seen Drew move up 20+ positions in the rankings.

18p 5r 4a 1s 1b vs Good Counsel

-Harris has really turned heads during the live period, averaging 14p 8r 2a 1s 2b on the wing with wins over stellar Fairfax Christian and St. Andrew’s teams. Harris can knock down C+S looks from the perimeter or the midrange but he has really improved his handle to become a much more impactful slasher that can weave through traffic on his way to the rim. His touch around the basket both on floaters and putbacks is also another sign of improvement and the work that he puts in off the floor. A solid athlete with good size and length, Harris is also producing at a pretty high level at the defensive end of the floor as a versatile wing that can guard 2-4. Definitely expect to see a nice bump from him in our updated rankings tomorrow afternoon.

Standing tall at 6-7, is a dynamic forward with a blend of finesse and physicality that makes him an intriguing prospect for the class of 2026. His ability to dominate in the paint while showcasing smooth movements and game intelligence positions him as an asset for any team aiming to elevate its performance. Drew played big throughout the DMV event. Average 16 points, 7 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal a game. Had a high score of 22 points and 9 rebounds.

Drew turned in about 3 or 4 tremendous performances. It was impressive seeing the variety of baskets Drew was able to score. He shot the ball very effectively in the midrange/close area. Able to consistently sink pullups over contests after a dribble or two. Looked like his game has really expanded since my last time seeing him during the 2024-25 regular season. Still a great rebounder and has that ability to find the ball. Drew’s stock may be on the rise following his DMV Live session performances.

Glenelg Country dominated St. John’s Catholic today, and it started with their defense. They picked up players full court, and they didn’t let SJC get much space. Drew Harris Drew Harris Drew Harris 6'8" | SF/SG Glenelg Country | 2026 State MD was excellent for Glenelg on both ends, and he forced a handful of turnovers. He turned his defense into a lot of easy buckets in transition for himself, and his length gave SJC a lot of problems. Drew finished with 21 points.
