17U Prospects
Carter Zeller Carter Zeller 6'6" | PF Fargo North | 2024 State ND (2024) |6’6 PF| Fargo North
WHY? He is an animal on the glass and has proven to be a magnificent finisher. Zeller is strong, patient, and efficient. Carter typically eliminates the opposing team’s post presence because of his stout defense. Zeller has also been able to stretch the floor this spring with a respectable 3-point shot.
17U Selects
Oliver Jensen Oliver Jensen 6'1" | SF Bismarck Century | 2024 State ND (2024) |6’0 SF| Bismarck Century
WHY? He is a hard-nosed kid that has played tough all spring long. Jensen brings the effort and intensity at a high-level. It is rare to see a player go as hard as he does. Oliver always shows up to ball and he plays his heart out. He has shot the 3 hot and is rebounding insanely well for a guard. Oliver is effective on both ends of the floor, that is what makes him an impact player!
16U Prospects
Aric Winczewski Aric Winczewski 6'2" | CG Minot | 2025 State ND (2025) |6’1 G| Minot
WHY? He matches up with the opposing teams best guard. Winczewski takes multiple charges a game and he rebounds really well for his size. Offensively, Aric shares the ball willingly with his teammates, he is a skilled passer, and he is constantly setting up his teammates for good looks. Aric is also a fluid shooter from the perimeter, he has shot well this spring. This high IQ kid is at his best when he is attacking with straight line drives, Aric is a playmaker when going downhill.

Cameron Klefstad Cameron Klefstad 6'4" | PF Grand Forks Red River | 2025 State ND (2024) |6’4 SF| Grand Forks Red River
WHY? He is consistently the best player in the paint for this ECI squad. Klefstad cleans up the boards and does a great job of getting that first pass up the floor. He is also an athletic player that can score from all levels of the floor. Cam can shoot a solid clip from outside the arc and he gives ECI the ability to stretch the floor if need be. Klefstad has averaged a double-double this spring in rebounds and points. He is also a monster on the defensive end. Cam protects the rim with some momentum changing blocks. He plays incredibly hard on both ends of the floor and has a great motor. Klefstad gives ECI a ton of versatility on the defensive end. He can guard 1-5 when needed. Cam is a solid player and an even better competitor!
15U Prospects
Chris Benning Chris Benning 5'10" | SG St. Mary's | 2026 State ND (2026) |5’10 SG| St. Mary’s
WHY? He is a shooter and a scorer but Benning is also extremely coachable. His basketball instincts are off the charts. Big Shot Benning has proven that he is one of the elite offensive players in the 2026 class. The lefty is a sniper from 3, is masterful from mid-range, and is a crafty scorer around the basket. Chris is an opportunistic scorer as he scores plenty of points in transition. Benning is crafty with the ball and his passing skills are praiseworthy. Chris is a rare talent and it has been on display with ECI.
15U Gold
Haakon Seymour Haakon Seymour 6'1" | SF West Fargo | 2026 State ND (2026) |6’1 SF| West Fargo
WHY? He is a player that can really do it all. Seymour has had a fantastic spring with ECI. Haakon is a monster on the offensive and defensive boards. He penetrates/slashes and finishes at the rim on a regular basis. Haakon has proved himself as a talented shooter as well. He is a valuable offensive threat with the ability to score at the cup and from beyond the arc. Seymour is not just s scorer, he does a nice job of finding the open man. He has proved to be valuable on the defensive side of the ball, Haakon can matchup with positions 1-5.
15U Black
Xander Hanson Xander Hanson 5'11" | SG Bismarck Century | 2026 State ND (2026) |5’11 G| Century
WHY? One could easily build a case that Xander is the ECI Programs most improved player this summer. While Xander can impact the game in many ways, he is learning to play under control and make better decisions with the basketball. Xander has also improved his shooting, which compliments a nasty first step with the strength and athleticism to finish at the rim. We also need to mention that Xander draws tough defensive assignments and can rebound at a high level! Keep an eye out for this soaring Patriot!
15U White
Chase Speelmon Chase Speelmon 6'0" | SG West Fargo Sheyenne | 2026 State ND (2026) |5’11 SF| Sheyenne
WHY? Chase quietly impacts every game with offensive movement (on and off the ball) and defensive communication. He buys into the team concept on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the little things that he does by moving without the ball and the ability to penetrate gaps opens up opportunities for others. Defensively, his constant communication with the others on the court solidifies the ECI defensive philosophy. Some of Speelmon’s strengths are court vision, finishing, and scoring with floaters/runners. Chase has been really good at looking off defenders, this gives him the ability to get to the rim along with dropping some very nice dimes.
14U Majkrzak
Aiden Sanchez (2027) |6’0 G/F| Breckenridge (MN)
WHY? He consistently impacts the game on the offensive and defensive end of the floor. Sanchez has the ability to guard multiple positions and he excels at it. Aiden rebounds at a high level and he brings energy to every game. On the offensive end, Sanchez is great in transition, finishes well at the cup, and he is shooting the 3-ball at an efficient rate.
14U Kinnebrew
Weston Scott Weston Scott 6'1" | SG Bismarck | 2027 State ND (2027) |6’2 G/F| Bismarck
WHY? One line on the stat sheet is just not enough for the Great Scott! Weston has been a stat-stuffer all spring and he has had some MONSTER scoring games. Weston is wildy-productive off the bounce and he finishes everything in the lane. Scott’s finishing package in immense and he is a high percentage shooter. He hits from the perimeter but his bread & butter comes from around the hoop. Weston is skilled and he has a great feel & knack for scoring the ball. Scott is a special talent.
14U Peterson
Owen Beery (2027) |6’0 SF| Circle (MT)
WHY? He has made an impact all spring long on both ends of the court. On offense, Beery can score from all levels. He can shoot it from deep and has a smooth mid-range game. Owen plays super-physical when he gets the ball inside the paint. On defense, Owen can guard 1-4 and his on-ball pressure makes things difficult for opposing ball handlers. Keep track of this Montana kid, he is hungry to keep improving!
14U Mattern
Genndrick Davis Genndrick Davis 5'10" | SF Legacy | 2027 ND (2027) |5’10 SF| Legacy
WHY? Between The King’s combination of athleticism and skill, Davis has been a force this spring. He has a knack for getting to the rim, this gives Davis scoring opportunities but also creates shots for others. Genndrick has shown spirits of being a really good defender. On offense and defense Davis is a difference-maker for this ECI squad.
14U Gregory
Brody Neil Brody Neil 5'8" | CG Red River | 2027 State ND (2027) |5’5 G| Red River
WHY? He makes everyone around him a better player. Neil shoots it consistently, he penetrates & makes positive plays, passes & shares the ball, and he rebounds well for his size. Brody mainly plays the point for this ECI team but can play on the wing as well. Neil runs the show and directs traffic. He has had a nice showing so far and I expect that to keep going for the young Roughrider.
