Nickels would have to be my impact player of the game. When he was on the court he made plays and the deficit the Thunderbolts would find themselves in would lessen. Checked into the game and the talented shooter knocks down a three. He showed his range with a few of them tonight. Took a key charge late in the game and on the very next play the assist to give Mica its first lead since I believe all game. Nickels is a play maker and one of the better two way guards in Southern Arizona.

Brandon is a sharp shooting guard with a great work ethic. Brandon has a really quick release and some deep range. He will hit the three of off the dribble or on the catch. He plays of ball really well and constantly runs of screens to get open. Brandon also has the ability to play on ball and start the offense. He is a very hard worker especially on the defensive end. Brandon will get rebounds, steals and blocks all because of his work ethic.

Mica Mountain will rely heavily on the shooting of Nickels who continues to show he’s one of the top shooters in Southern Arizona. Skilled dribbler and consistent play maker. Nickels has a great overall game but sets himself apart with his scoring and tough defensive presence.
