went on a tear at the Combine and Showcase. He was lighting it up from long range, and it looks like an area where he can potentially start pulling the trigger more. Based on his mechanics and performances. He also soared through traffic and sent home an eye popping dunk. Putting his vertical to use. His top offensive output was 16 points. Kirkland was also utilizing his length on defense (80 inch wingspan). Helping him also earn MVP Honors.

had a few nice flashes at the Bigfoot Hoops Easter Showdown. He runs the floor like a guard despite his stature and used his hops to come up with a strong block against Snow Canyon. He also gets out in transition and helps out in the rebounding department. With more production, his name could start to pick up some steam.

is now 10th, in part thanks to his tools, athleticism, and frame. He was asked to play more as a forward this high school season, and although it wasn’t his typical spot, he accepted the role and competed. With his upside, there’s a good chance he makes some waves this spring/summer, and his ability to defend multiple positions is certainly something that sets him apart. If he continues to round out his game, he should be even more of a force come next December.

has been bumped up to #12 in the updated 2027 rankings due to his overall skill, athleticism and size. He is one of the stronger junior defenders who can stifle opponents with his reach and quickness. Kirkland also has a notable max vertical (34 in.) which allows him to play above the rim on both offense and defense. Look for him to make some waves with his new squad, the 5A Democracy Prep Blue Knights.

had the biggest wingspan out of all of the Class of 2027 guards. It was 76 inches (almost 6’4). He’s stood out on defense for quite a while now and it now adds a bit more. When you combine it with his height and vertical (34 in), you get a shot disruptor and someone who can intercept passes.

placed third in the CMJ test with 19.7 inches. He also placed third in the Max Vertical leap test, and posted a vert of 34 inches. All in all, it was a good showing in the jumping assessments from the junior wing.

is a playmaker on both sides of the court for Bucked Up Elite. On offense, he looks to get downhill with the rock and he can make difficult finishes thanks to his hang time. He also has a jump shot in his bag and makes 3’s every so often. His defense is also one of his strong suits. He can swipe the ball away if he’s given the opportunity or he can come up with a block.
