Big strong rim-protector who also thinks every rebound on both ends of the court should be his."   Q&A with Zach Edman   PHD: Why are you excited about this team/roster?   Coach Edman: "We are returning some of our roster from last year as well as adding a couple of exciting players. We have a lot of guys with some great varsity experience and some guys who will be battling to play important roles on their varsity teams next year. Everyone on the team knows how important of a summer it is for their development and is excited to get to work."   PHD: How often will your team practice/work out?   Coach Edman: "We will have weekly practices in addition to our tournaments. We have some kids who have to travel to get to Sioux Falls for practices so we want to make sure we are maximizing our time with them. As well as giving them the tools and drills to work on in their own time."   PHD: What will a couple of your strengths be as a team?   Coach Edman: "Shooting the basketball is going to be a real strength of ours. We have guys at every position who can shoot the ball at a high percentage which will put a lot of pressure on the opposing defenses. We also have a lot of good ball handlers so we will be able to quickly get out into transition and push the ball with any number of guys."   PHD: What style of basketball will you play on the offensive end?   Coach Edman: "For the most part, we want to play a fast-paced motion offense with a lot of cutting and screening. We have so many unselfish players that the more we can drive and get into the paint, the more opportunities it is going to create for our shooters on the perimeter. We will have certain times throughout every game though where we will want to feed our big guys inside and let them go to work."   PHD: What brand of defense do you foresee your team playing?   Coach Edman: "We will play man defense as a team this summer. We want to put a lot of ball pressure on the offense every time they get the ball and make them uncomfortable every possession of the game. We want to force a lot of turnovers and tough shots and then get the ball to our ballhandlers who can push the court in transition and get easy baskets."   PHD: What event/tournament are you most looking forward to?
